  6. I don't have a steamer, so I steam them in an earthenware pot. After about 10 minutes, there's no more water, so at about the 10 minute mark, add some hot water.
  7. When the sweet potatoes can easily be pierced through with a skewer and the outside of the potatoes are shiny, it's done!

Be sure to draw the moisture out of the sweet potato in. You can also use a regular steamer. Add the egg to the flour mixture. Stir it into the flour mix. Add just enough of the measured water to make an even but stiff dough (add more if needed).
