My mom used to make this halwa especially during ekadashi and other fasting day as it is quick and filling and I learnt to make this from her. Wash potatoes and put them on fire for boiling. Then, make them cool, peel and mash them. Put potatoes in it and fry them.

  3. Now add ghee in a kadahi.

Add milk, sugar, raisins and cashews in it. The potato halwa making process is not at all tricky. It starts from pre cooking the potatoes till mushy. The peeled and mashed potato gets in to ghee. You need to continuously stir in till you are done with the halwa.
